Project Homerun 2022

Project Homerun

The season begins after July 4th

Project Homerun is a fundraising campaign born out of prayer in January of 2017  and executed by a group of men who play softball for Trinity Lutheran Church out of Elkhart. That one simple prayer was, “Lord, let this season make a difference in the lives of the team…and he answered…in order to make a difference in their lives, make a difference in the lives of others!”

The 2022 recipient of Project Homerun again will be Sleep in Heavenly Peace – IN, Elkhart Co. Sleep in Heavenly Peace has a powerful slogan “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.” To learn more about Sleep in Heavenly Peace check out Elkhart County’s local Facebook page HERE or visit their page on the national page HERE. This choice was the result of numerous nominations and a nearly unanimous vote when choosing the recipient.

If you would like to help, you can contact Ty Miller at tylanmiller@gmail.com or see the softball players in the church at the Outreach & Activities Center this month. You can also check out the Project Homerun website for more information as well.
