i

Curriculum

We seek to create a developmentally appropriate environment, looking at the characteristics of young children first and developing activities and experiences in tune with these characteristics.

Programs

We have five full-day options for our 2-year-old friends through our PreK friends.  We also have 2-3 day full-day options and 1/2 day options as well.  We would love to connect with you and see how we can best partner with your family.

About Us

Trinity Lutheran’s Early Education program is based on the philosophy that children age 3-6 learn best through play, exploration, and multi-sensory experiences.  Based on that knowledge, our program is designed to fit the learning characteristics of the young child.  Our classrooms are filled with activity and noise. Children talking, playing, exploring, and LEARNING!

Come Visit Us

One of the best ways to get to know someone is when you are invited into their home. We hope that the video above gives you a sense of what our school is like on a daily basis, but the best way to get to know us is to come to visit our home and experience the Trinity difference. We are currently conducting live and virtual tours, please consider scheduling a visit.

Faith, Family, Future.

These three words encompass our entire ministry, but especially our preschool.  Faith is central to everything that we do all day long. We feel very passionately that we want to support every family that comes through our doors, and even if you make a different choice at some point, you will always be a part of our Trinity Family.  Your child’s academic future is important to us, and a solid early foundation has been shown to be transformational. We feel, however, that the greatest importance is their eternal future, and fostering a relationship with their Creator, and Savior Jesus Christ.

Curriculum

Religion

Our students understand that Jesus is their best friend. They learn that Jesus is God’s Son and that He died and rose again to forgive their sins. The children worship and pray and sing songs of praise to Jesus in the classroom and in a weekly chapel service. The children begin to memorize short Bible passages and the Lord’s Prayer. We use materials from Concordia Publishing House.

Math/Science

Using a hands-on explorative approach our students learn about the wonders of God’s creation, including their own bodies, and learn the skills to classify, group, and sort the world around them.  They learn compare and contrast concepts in conjunction with natural phenomena like the seasons, daytime/nighttime, etc.

Art

Students experience a variety of art activities including drawing, coloring, and painting. They experiment with color, shapes, and objects as they use their imaginations to develop their own creations. Working with other media, such as clay and various marking tools, allows their creativity to develop individually.

Language Arts & Social Studies

Children begin to understand that they are created by God and in His image and how they relate to the world around them. Along with this understanding, students are learning to connect letters, sounds, words, and language to express themselves.  Students learn what it means to relate to God’s world, and that it is important to become responsible for their own actions, and to express their needs and wants in an appropriate manner.

How is the curriculum determined?

Trinity’s Early Childhood programs are designed to ensure each child the opportunity to reach their full potential for growth and learning through age-appropriate activities.  We offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum to meet each student’s abilities and needs.  A variety of instructional strategies are used, balancing between teacher-directed and self-directed learning activities. Teachers embrace the natural learning process of a young child and will offer an opportunity for play, social interaction, creative expression, problem-solving, and the child’s desire to learn.

What Our Families are Saying

Our family could not say more amazing things about Trinity Preschool! Not only have our sons learned tons, and they have made friendships with their classmates that they will forever cherish! We will always be grateful to them for constantly reminding our boys how much God Loves them!

We knew the minute we toured Trinity Pre-K programs that God had answered our prayers! Not only did our daughter grow leaps and bounds academically with their faith-based curriculum, but she also grew exponentially emotionally and spiritually! Parents were always welcomed in the classroom, teachers turned into family and the Christian values were lived out daily. I have no doubt Miss Neumeyer has more than prepared Emmaline for Kindergarten this fall!

From our first visit to Trinity, we loved the atmosphere, especially the art throughout the school. The teachers loved on our boys as if they were their own. They made learning fun and had a Christ-centered focus. Trinity has had a lasting impact on our boys!
