Holy Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 12 PM (April 6th-8th): A short midday Eucharist

Holy Thursday, April 9th: 7 PM

“At-home” ritual: Before worship, prepare these items for the traditional foot-washing ritual with your family: a large bowl or bucket, a pitcher of warm water, towels. If you live alone, pour the water on your feet and dry them off, remembering that Jesus washes your feet.

Good Friday, April 10th: 7 PM

“At-home” ritual: Before worship, set up a crucifix or cross in a special place where you are watching so that you can participate in the veneration of the cross at home. You may also want to light a candle. If you don’t have a cross, gather 2 sticks and make one. The whole point, as we will hear, is to “Behold the wood of the cross on which hung the salvation of the world.”

Easter Vigil, April 11: 8 PM

“At-home” ritual: Before worship, gather a candle for each person and a lighter or matches to join in the Liturgy of Light. Also, have a bowl of water ready for the baptismal remembrance.

Easter Sunday, April 12: 10 AM

“At-home” ritual: Before worship, have a bowl of water ready as we once again remember our baptisms and the new life the Risen Christ gives us!

Lenten Outreach Thu, 27 Feb 2020 19:56:11 +0000

Let’s Serve! During the Lenten Season we want to focus on service. We have two opportunities to serve at Church Community Services on March 3 and March 5, and one at SPA Ministries on March 7. You can sign up below.

We are also encouraging all of our Trinity family to get creative and think of an act of service you can do on your own, with friends, or with your family. Maybe you have an organization you would like to help- call them and set up a time to serve there. Do you have a neighbor who could use some encouragement?- take them out for coffee or make them dinner. Know a young mom or dad who could use some time to him or herself?- offer to watch their kids for a couple of hours!

We would love to encourage each other to participate by sharing how we are serving. Take a few minutes and email Sue Emmack at and let her know how you served.  You can even include a picture! If you would like your service project to remain anonymous, please let her know. We would like to report back to our congregation each week how we are doing. Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus this Lenten season!

CCS Service Night Thu, 10 Jan 2019 14:16:00 +0000

Looking for a hands-on service project in our community? Trinity participates in a monthly service project at Church Community Services in Elkhart. We will volunteer on the first Tuesday of every month from 6-8pm to assist with various projects. No special skills are needed. Children 10 years of age and older are welcome to join in but must have an adult accompany them. Please sign up in advance, so we know how many people to expect. What a great way to reach outside of our own four walls and help those in need! You can sign up online or at the information center.
