Maundy Thursday Vigil
While praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus, upon finding the disciples sleeping asked, “Could you not keep awake and pray that you may not come into temptation.”
Our vigil at the Altar of Repose will begin immediately following our Maundy Thursday 7 p.m. Eucharist. It will last through the night and all day Friday concluding with the beginning of our Good Friday service at 7 p.m.
Your time with the Blessed Sacrament in the Confessional can be spent in silent prayer, meditation, the reading of Holy Scripture, or simply sitting quietly to keep watch, remembering our Lord’s Passion and Death.
If you are interested mark your calendars and watch for a sign-up coming soon.
Lent 2026: Examen
The Examen is a daily prayer in the tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola. It teaches us at the end of the day to review our lives. That is also what Lent is all about: a sacred, solemn season to take a closer look at our lives and our Savior!
Here are some of things available for your Lenten journey:
- Lenten Devotions are available for daily prayer.
- Weekend Eucharists (Sat. 4 PM, Sunday 8:30 & 11 AM) – The dramatic Gospel readings for this year will take us into powerful stories that will scrutinize our lives yet draw us closer to Jesus.
- A 30 minute Daily Eucharist will be offered at 7 AM (Monday – Thursday) starting Thursday, Feb. 19
- Wednesday Midweek Lenten Eucharist (12 PM & 7 PM).
- Our midweek series will look at the 5 steps of an Ignatian Examen so we can learn this method of prayer.
- A “Meager Meal” Soup Supper will be served on Weds. nights at 6 PM starting Feb. 25th.
- Pre-Service Taize music will begin around 6:50
- Confession and Absolution and Anointing for healing are offered after each Weds. Eucharist.
Looking for a meaningful way to connect with others this Lent? Join us for our Wednesday evening Soup Suppers at 6:00pm in the Church Flex Space. Each week, we’ll share a simple meal rooted in tradition—good soup, fresh bread, and genuine fellowship. Whether you’re breaking a fast or just looking for a warm meal and conversation, you’ll find a welcoming table here. Come for the food, stay for the community, and make Lent a season of connection.
