Can you imagine going to bed with no blanket?
This is a reality for some children in our community! The quilting ministry at Trinity meets monthly to help combat this problem by sewing quilts for needy children. The quilts have been donated to CAPS, RETA, Hannah’s House, and other organizations that work with children and families.
The Children’s Quilt Ministry comprises women who enjoy making quilts for needy children who could use a new quilt of their own.
We meet monthly in the Art room. During the 2023/2024 school year, we will meet on the second Friday of the month from 9-11 am. (November is the third Friday).
We also have people who do sewing at home. Some sew the tops of quilts, and some do finishing work after they have been pinned together.
