Baptism Classes

Jesus says in Matthew 19: “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” In Baptism, Jesus gives us the gifts of the kingdom of heaven: forgiveness of sins, rescue from death and the devil, and eternal salvation. Trinity rejoices with the whole Church on earth when another child of God is brought to the waters of Baptism!
If you’re interested in getting your baby/child baptized, parents and Godparents are invited to a baptism class. Every parent is asked to attend a class before baptizing their baby/child at Trinity Lutheran Church. The classes will cover such topics as parenting, the role of sponsors/Godparents, as well as a walk through the Rite of Baptism. Please contact Jodi Freshour to sign up for the class or to ask questions at jodifreshour@trinityl.org. You may also reach her at Trinity during the day at (574) 674-8800 ext. 129.
